I’m a terrible blogger!

Well, here’s to me being the world’s worst blogger!

So much has happened over the past few months, and I have had so little time, I have truly been negligent in posting about it. Now, some of this you may have seen in other media – on my Facebook page or Instagram – but consider this my best attempt at redemption to try and summarize the hi-lights here.

So “ISTEN KARDJA: The Warrior” was released at the end of April (Yay!) and I was able to get my hands on some copies to share at a few author events: the Fantasy Market in Brantford on May 24th; Waterloo Bookfest on May 31st; and the Indigo Local Author Event in Cambridge on June 14th. I don’t have any more events planned for the summer until the Royal Medieval Faire in Waterloo on September 24th, but I’m definitely looking forward to that one as it one event that is truly focused on folks interested in period history/fantasy, and I am excited to meet/make new fans!

At the same time, I migrated my website to a Canadian web hosting service, and did spend a lot of time figuring out a lot of the technical stuff that goes on behind the scenes of setting-up a website (while also getting some great support from WHC in transferring everything from my previous host – the transition was seamless and I learned a lot!)

It was a lot of fun meeting new fans at the events I have attended so far this year, and with the launch of the new site, I am also happy to announce that I have registered a new email domain for fans to use to connect moving forward. So this part of the message is for everyone who purchased a copy of either ‘The Withering‘ or ‘The Warrior‘ = I would love to hear your thoughts/comments/feedback on the books, to know more about what you liked (and what you didn’t) so I can continue to grow and evolve my craft to deliver a quality product to you in the third book of the series (aptly named, ‘The Wizard‘) coming next year. Please feel free to send me a note at:

frank.nemeth@isten-kardja.com

As I get used to the new site, I hope to develop more opportunities (mailing lists, newsletters, etc.,) for fans to connect and engage, and perhaps even offer some unique prizes/gifts as my way of saying thanks for your engagement! Stay Tuned!
