I was pleasantly surprised last night when my wife came into the room and told me she had Googled “Isten Kardja” and found this wonderful review from Adrian Quijano of The Community Edition (communityedition.ca):
This was originally posted on October 12, 2023, but because I am such a hermit on social media, I didn’t see it until just now (…thank goodness my wife is more interested in Googling stuff about me than I am!).
What I like about this review is that I had met Adrian at a book fair in Waterloo last September, and the review was posted without any solicitation on my part aside from providing Adrian with a copy of the text.
I think the strangest thing for me is getting used to having other people refer to me by my surname, as if I were an athlete listening to someone do the play-by-play of a football match (I am so used to hearing “Frank” that reading this aloud to my wife last night, saying “Nemeth” just didn’t roll of my tongue as well… Not Complaining!!)
