I can’t believe it’s December already!
It seems like just a few weeks ago that I was celebrating the book launch of “ISTEN KARDJA” and now suddenly the year is almost over! I had the good fortune of participating in a number of interesting book fair events over the course of the summer, which helped me work on my pitch skills for promoting my work, as well as inspiring me to keep writing. Of course, between still having a full-time day job and a busy family, I found myself derelict in my duties to get as much written on Book Two as I had hoped, yet alone keeping this blog or my other social media pages updated. It always seemed like it was on my list of things to do, but would have to wait until tomorrow… (I guess now I can add “procrastinator” to “introvert” when I describe myself!)
Things took a bit of an unexpected turn as I had to fend off a bout of COVID through most of October, on top of other health issues that made it clear to me that I was trying to do too much with too little, and it was hurting my creativity and motivation.
Long story short, I am looking forward to the holiday season as a chance to rest, look back on the successes I’ve had this year, and recommit to completing Book Two (…tentatively titled “The Warrior”…) in the early part of the new year.
